Head of School Search Update - 10/4/2012
Posted 10/04/2012 01:00AM

Dear members of the St. Paul's Community,

On behalf of the Headmaster Search Committee, I write to update you on our search. We are most appreciative of the time and feedback of the St. Paul's community throughout the process and want you to know that this involvement has been and remains very important to us and the School.

We have interviewed many fine candidates, three of whom we brought to campus to meet students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. At this point we have not yet found a candidate that we are prepared to recommend to our Board of Trustees to be our next Headmaster, and we are therefore continuing the search until we find the best possible person to lead St. Paul's. In the meantime, we are moving forward with the help of our search consultants, evaluating additional candidates as we continue to search diligently for our next Headmaster.

As you may recall from my last letter, our goal was to have a Headmaster selected by November. While we likely won't achieve that goal, our process has reassured us of both the strong appeal of St. Paul's and that we are on the right path to identify a Headmaster who will be a great fit for our community.  We are confident in our decision to continue seeking the best fit for St. Paul's, and we will continue to keep our St. Paul's community advised of developments through regular communications.

Again, the Committee is most grateful to our community for being a part of this important process. As always, your feedback is encouraged and appreciated.

Sincerely,
Louis Sarkes
Chair, Headmaster Search Committee
