News & Announcements

Family and friends of the Class of 2017 gathered on June 10 to celebrate the 2017 Commencement ceremony at St. Paul's School. Following the unveiling of the plaque in the Chapel that bears their names, the 91 members of the St. Paul's Class of 2017 processed to their seats outside Brooklandwood.
Following several years of careful study and due diligence, the Boards of Trustees of St. Paul's School for Girls and St. Paul's School have voted to unify our governance structure effective July 1, 2018. Unification means that one Board, made up of all current trustees from SPS and SPSG, will work for the mutual benefit of all students. This unification will help ensure the continued success of our Schools in a highly competitive and ever-changing independent school landscape.

Bridges 3+ Program
Posted 06/20/2011 08:43PM

Last May, Bridges started "Bridges 3+", a program designed to honor students from the St. Paul's Schools who volunteer in three or more Bridges programs during their high school years. On May 26, 2011, Bridges held its second "Bridges 3+" induction ceremony, honoring six high school students for their extraordinary commitements to the students in the Bridges Program.

This year's event started with a speech from Bridges graduate Stephon Dingle, who is now a rising senior and president of his class at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Stephon spoke about his own experience in the Bridges Program and the impact that high school volunteers have had on his life. Stephon was followed by six Bridges students who each presented a personalized thank you note and a 3+ sweatshirt to one of the volunteers.

At the end of the ceremony, Bridges students joined volunteers and their families for light refreshments and conversation.
